I’ve been extremely busy lately!! My last e-course just finished, I’ve been submitting a lot of work to companies and magazines, and I attended my High School Class Reunion. The latter took me a week to recover from! Ha! Maybe I’ll blog about that a bit later 😉
Here are some abstract digital paintings that I’ve been experimenting with. They are a huge departure from what I usually do. I typically design very intricate and complicated repeat patterns, the common bond is the use of bright, intense color. These seem really complicated, but for some reason they are relaxing to create! Go figure! These are all available at http://society6.com/Groovity for sale as prints, iPhone cases, laptop skins, and more!
Groovey Baby!! hehe. Love the color combos.
You know it!! Thanks so much Yordie 🙂
Btw, how’s the whole wordpress change working out? i’m still feeling the improved interfacing with other bloggers, it’s been very powerful.
I had a cram session to learn all about WordPress for that last Bloghop. I did tutorials on Lynda.com that really helped! I’m just really getting back to blogging on a regular basis, I’ve been so busy and put it off. The truth is, posts don’t take all that much time to do, as I usually use lots of pictures in them, hehe. So now I’ll work on networking and interfacing with other bloggers and see how that goes!
I think you’ll find it’s much more SEO friendly too, although this is just my own anecdotal observations. I’ve seen my Alexa ranking improve a lot with WordPress for example.
Oh dear…back to Lynda.com for more tutorials. I have no clue what you’re talking about! Hahahah! SEO? Alexa? *sighs* I DO learn quickly 🙂
I don’t know much about SEO (search engine optimization) but it’s important in order to grow your rankings and stuff. It’s about keywords and all that kind of thing, plus how you promote your blog. Once you start blogging to the public, I think there’s no reason not to do what you can. SEO gets very involved and the search engines change the algorithyms from time to time… so it’s an ongoing struggle.
Mary, your work is so much fun! Good luck on your submissions although I don’t think you need it as your work speaks for itself. Best of luck!

Thanks Leska! Ahh…time will tell! Everything seems like such a long process, let’s hope that all of our hard work pays off!
Appreciating the hard work you put into your website and in depth information you offer.
It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t
the same unwanted rehashed material. Wonderful read!
I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
