I live in a city. And I really like it! Although I do miss having my own yard, our building has set up an area for us to garden. This is my third year participating. It’s on top of the roof of the parking garage.
This is my little garden plot! It’s about a 6 x 6 foot square raised bed. This year I’m growing a few different types of heirloom tomatoes, zucchini, lots of herbs, and flowers.
My absolute fave flower is a gazania.
Check out these markings and colors!!
Here are a few pictures of some of the other plants in bloom.
I LOVE flowers, so I’ve been working on lots of new designs. So much inspiration in the fabulous season of Spring!
Greeting cards!I’m going to turn this into a repeat pattern. So much to do!
Nice garden! Your gazanias are beautiful and they remind me of your art! Your drawings are amazing, I can’t wait to see what you do next! (LOL…Google chrome is telling me that gazanias is misspelled and suggesting gassiness instead!)
HAHA Shelly, gassiness?!??! Thanks for your kind words, and for stopping by the blog 🙂
Awesome flowers, groovy chica!
And the sun FINALLY came out today, so I got to play in the dirt 🙂
Mary, I love your garden! I love gardening too but have no garden atm, so miss it. Very therapeutic to be so close to nature and to see the amazing fruits of your labours! You can tell that the flowers inspire your work! You’re so productive!
Tina, it was such a long, long winter here! I’m ready to enjoy some sun and outdoor color!
