I am really trying to be more consistent as a blogger. And I thought, what better way to do this…post pictures (in a somewhat organized manner) that I love. Right! Well, I already have a Pinterest category called “My Visual Nirvana”, so I thought I would possibly do a weekly blogpost showing some of my own personal pictures that I take that inspire me, spark my creativity, and just simply make me ga-ga and touch that happy spot in my brain. Best day for this? How about on MONDAYS! Hey, I’m self-employed and I work pretty much every day and I absolutely LOVE what I’m doing, so Mondays are no problem. But most of you complain about them. Hope that you enjoy this, I hope to spread some visual happiness, and I really hope that I can be more consistent with my little blog! *grins*
This all began when I had my little travel jewelry roll on my desk, and was fiddling with it (otherwise known as procrastinating.) I got all buzzy when I started to take out the necklaces. BEADS!! I love beads. I always wanted to be a bead stringer-kind-of-jewelry-designer. I have had a long career as a jewelry designer, but I ended up in a different direction in the jewelry market…I love how the light plays on the facets, the shapes, the luminosity, the colors. I love all of the different hues that reflect off of each other. YUM.
I bought a few of these necklaces from a charity called “Global Girlfriend” at Whole Foods stores. Global Girlfriend was created by Stacey Edgar in 2003 to help women worldwide gain economic security while providing unique products and a simple way to help women in need.
