Wow. I can’t even believe that I’ve been posting so consistently. I am laughing!! In this week’s installment: My Visual Nirvana…GLASS!!
I love glass anything….as long as it has color in it! After visiting Murano, Italy many times, I have fallen in love with glass art. I collect glass, one of the few things that I do collect. I DISLIKE dusting, so I don’t do the collectible thing (like those scary dolls or Hummels or whatever!!!), but I am very attracted to the randomness and the play of light with glass artwork. Especially the glasswork from Italy. Yeah, Italy. The country where I’ve traveled to tons of times yet I’ve never had a bad meal there? *big smiles* And yes, I do dust my glass pieces, hehe!
Sunset light on this very cool glass hanging piece of art that I bought at a craft fair
I love this vase! From Pier1 Imports.
Another Pier1 thingie that I use as a candle holder.
Crate and Barrel decorative dish/platter.
This is actually a teeny paperweight from Venice, Italy. Gold metallic.
A candle votive holder from Italy.
I love this trio! Tiny “Genie Jars”, as I call them.
I love the randomness in the glass! The swirls and bubbles…
I think these are from Poland? LOVE.
I bought this in Murano, Italy. How cool is this? Like stained glass.
I love these cups! I’ve never drank from them, I just stare in admiration 🙂
Another Pier1 Import purchase. Champagne tastes great in these 🙂
And ah…my glass globes…these might look like marbles, but they are 3-5 inches in diameter.
