I received a nice little prezzie in the mail last week! It was an EFUTO from my friend, artist, and designer, Dawn Clarkson! Dawn lives in Torino, Italy. Please check out her fab blog by clicking HERE. It’s so much fun to have so many interesting international friends! We met each other while taking The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design e-course.

What is an EFUTO, you ask? efuto (e = picture, futo = envelope).  Click HERE to read the full story about the origins of EFUTO. My design group got together and organized an EFUTO swap. We picked names and sent each other very uniquely decorated envelopes. In a world where “real” mail is neither sent or received as much anymore, this was such a fun and refreshing thing to find in my mailbox. Here are some snaps that I took of her gorgeous creation….
