Yesterday I went to the first Sunday of Providence Flea. I had not been there since last year, and it’s grown a lot! I had a blast walking around, chatting with people, petting dogs, and seeing some wicked cool stuff!
First stop. Vintage kitchen! Pyrex! Love the color and the little floral design. I’m currently working on kitcheny-themed designs with Modern Yardage for my next fabric collection. Stay tuned for that!
I really loved these badge holders.
My FAVE item of the day! I might have to go back next week to inquire about it. No idea what the heck I would do with it. It’s just so cool!
I love these old bottles, especially the blue ones.
Such a cool idea, this guy cuts up license plates and repurposes them into new words! When I was a kid I had an obsession with seeing different license plates from around the country. No idea why. I was an odd kid!
Lots of vintage clothing! I didn’t need any house dresses at the moment 😉
This kind of made me sad….This is an old jewelry mold for wax injection. So many fabulous companies gone…
I was fascinated with this (I am guessing) WW2 helmet. I think the name inside was Polish.
I loved this tent! All kinds of baubles and beads, lace and trim. YUM. Visual nirvana for me.
All in all, I had a great time. The weather was just the best! No humidity, pure sun. I’ll be going back next week to see what I can find. Support your local business and artists! Shop local. Click HERE for more information about Providence Flea.
